Bron van Inspiratie

Bron van Inspiratie — collective exhibition at De Paardenkamp

Bron van Inspiratie took place in a very special setting: on the grounds of De Paardenkamp in Soest, inside an old farm building where the atmosphere of the place became an essential part of the exhibition. Surrounded by wooden structures, the old stable interior and the living history of a place deeply connected with horses, the artworks entered into a direct dialogue with their surroundings.

This was the fifth, anniversary edition of Bron van Inspiratie. The central theme of the exhibition was old horses living at De Paardenkamp — animals that have lived long lives and are now spending their final years in peace and safety. For me, this theme became a reflection on dignified ageing, memory, trust and the quiet depth carried by a life already lived — not only by humans, but also by animals.

At the exhibition I presented my triptych Moments of Eternity. In these works, old horses become more than models: they become carriers of time, memory and emotional presence. Through light, fragmented space and movement, I wanted to explore moments that pass, but do not disappear. They remain within us as images, feelings and luminous memories.

The exhibition left me with many emotions and thoughts. It was a wonderful experience of meeting visitors and fellow artists, sharing conversations about art, horses, memory and the bond between humans and animals. I am grateful that my work became part of this exhibition and of such a meaningful place.
