Trace explores movement as a state in which the past does not disappear when the present emerges. Several positions of the body exist simultaneously: they overlap, intersect and leave traces, transforming movement into a single spatial structure.

Colour separates the individual phases without isolating them. The figure continuously appears, shifts and dissolves, so the image can be read not as a sequence of frames, but as the simultaneous presence of several moments in time.

In Trace, I am interested not so much in the movement of the horse itself, but in what remains between its phases — the trace of what has already happened and the possibility of the next movement.
