The Light Between is one of the works created as part of the Verbinding project. It has already been exhibited and holds a special place in my heart.

It all began with a small, almost accidental sketch — made in just a couple of minutes, yet the idea was already there.

During my visit to Paardenkamp , I observed two horses. There was a quiet, touching moment of communication between them — something very warm and tender. At that same moment, sunlight fell on them in such a way that their inner connection and the outer glow became one. That moment became a symbol for me — a symbol of a deep, invisible, yet tangible bond between living beings.

I felt a strong desire to express this feeling in my pastel work .

It is available for purchase, and part of the proceeds will be donated to support Paardenkamp.
