In Garden of Soul, I explore the fragile beauty of the feminine soul, hidden beneath layers of daily life and expectations. The figure of a woman, with her head veiled in soft white coverings and her chest replaced by roses, symbolizes both the delicate nature and the strength of the female spirit. The rose represents beauty and vulnerability, reflecting the emotional and spiritual essence that lies beneath the surface. The woman’s appearance, reminiscent of a nun, conveys purity and introspection. The beetle, placed on the ribbon extending beyond the composition, symbolizes protection – a small creature guarding the delicate beauty, embodying strength and defense. The work is executed in soft gray-blue and pink tones, enhancing the dreamlike, surreal quality of the piece. These gentle hues contrast with the brown beetle, which emphasizes the protective nature and creates a sense of defense. Through this work, I invite the viewer to reflect on the quiet strength and grace within every woman, her need for protection, and the inherent tenderness that defines her being.
